The Flos 2097/50 is one of the most famous pendant lamps in Italian and international design. Designed by Gino Sarfatti in 1958, it represents a modern reinterpretation of the classic chandelier , combining rationalist rigor and sculptural elegance .
In the model with frosted (opaque) bulbs , the aesthetic becomes even more delicate and soft, diffusing a soft, uniform and glare-free light .
The 2097/50 is composed of:
-
a central steel structure , from which 50 metal arms branch out with visible light bulbs mounted in view
-
a design that celebrates the balance between form and function , leaving the electrical cables exposed as part of the aesthetic language
-
an elegant industrial style , which makes it perfect for classic, modern, minimalist or theatrical environments
