Wireline Suspension Lamp - Flos

The WireLine is a visionary and innovative pendant lamp created by the conceptual design studio Formafantasma for Flos.
It was born as a reflection on the concept of an electric cable no longer hidden, but celebrated , transformed into a structural, decorative and functional element .
The lamp represents a perfect balance between industrial material and luminous refinement , becoming a suspended sculpture and a source of diffused light .

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

WireLine is made up of:

• A flat band of extruded rubber , stretched from the ceiling downwards, which replaces the classic electrical cable;

• A horizontal lighting profile in extruded borosilicate glass , grooved, which houses an integrated LED source .

This elastic band, flexible yet solid, supports and feeds the luminous body, giving life to a suspended object, elegant, architectural and at the same time disarming in its structural simplicity .
